I currently have Quicken for Mac and looking to change. I prefer to go to banks and credit cards and manually download transactions to a QFX file that I can click on and update by registers. I did not realize till lately these were still going thru quicken servers. With your product for MAC can I download and update my files? Is it simple? I presume I can convert or move quicken files over, correct?

    Hello,

We have detailed instructions on importing data from Quicken at http://help.infinitekind.com/kb/importing-from-quicken-or-ms-money/...

Moneydance supports downloading and importing files from banks in the QFX, OFX, OFC, and QIF formats.

I encourage you to download our free trial version from http://infinitekind.com/downloads and experiment with the program before you decide if you would like to purchase it. The demo version is fully functional and allows you to manually enter 100 transactions. Imported transactions are not limited, so you'll be able to fully test things like importing from other programs and connections with your bank. If you decide to purchase the program at a later date you can keep all your data, the license key simply unlocks the ability to manually enter more transactions.

In case you haven't found it yet, our full user guide can be downloaded from http://help.infinitekind.com/kb/user-guides
