<p>If you are talking about downloaded transactions from a bank then the limit is set by the bank, Moneydance will accept what it is given.</p>

<p>It depends on the Bank/Financial Institution.</p>
<p>For Automatic Downloads (Direct Connect) it's usually 1-3 months worth.</p>
<p>For Manual Downloads you may be able to obtain up to a year's worth of data (or more). My Amex card has statements back to July 2018 and Discover provides statements for download as far back as May 2017.</p>
