Thank you for contacting Moneydance support.

Firstly you need to make sure that you are running the same version of Moneydance on both machines.
To do this run Moneydance and select "Help->Console Window..." from the menu. Then, copy and paste the output of the console window to this discussion.

The latest version of Moneydance is available here:
https://infinitekind.com/downloads

The trial version is fully functional and allows you to manually enter 100 transactions. Imported transactions are not limited, so you'll be able to fully test downloading data from your bank, and importing data from other personal finance software.
If you decide to purchase the program at a later date you can keep all data you have entered during the trial period.

You can find the Moneydance knowledge base here which will be useful if you're using the program for the first time.
The articles are broken into sections and you can search at the top of the page.

For further information on "Syncing and Sharing with other computers, please refer to this article: https://infinitekind.tenderapp.com/kb/syncing-and-sharing-data

I'd be happy to provide guidance, if you have further questions or need any assistance.
