Q98 (on W7x64) can only export one account at the time, with option to include:

Transactions
Accounts List
Category List
Memorized Transactions

Which should I include?

Over the past 20 years I have accumulated 58 Accounts and a Portfolio with 100's of shares and two currencies. What are my chances to migrate all data, memo, historical share prices, etc. without errors?

Thanks

    Hi Pierre,

We haven't worked directly with Quicken 98, so I'm not exactly sure what the best option is. I'd recommend selecting the Transactions and Category List options, then trying to import the resulting QIF file into Moneydance.

If you haven't already, I encourage you to download our free trial version and experiment with the program before you decide if you would like to purchase it. The demo version is fully functional and allows you to manually enter 100 transactions. Imported transactions are not limited, so you'll be able to fully test connections with your bank. If you decide to purchase the program at a later date you can keep all your data, the license key simply unlocks the ability to manually enter more transactions. You can download the trial version of Moneydance from here:

For more information on how to get the most out of your trial period, check out our [blog post on the subject](http://infinitekind.com/blog/getting-the-most-out-of-your-moneydance-trial).

Please let me know if I can be of further assistance, and thank you for your interest in Moneydance!

Thank for your reply Scott. Due to the large number of accounts and transactions it will take days to migrate and check integrity. I would like to avoid the trial & error method.

    Does anyone know for sure?

    Hi Pierre,

I understand your concern, though unfortunately we don't know for sure. For a quick test, I'd suggest trying one account and seeing how it turns out.
