Moving on from Quicken
I want to move away from Quicken, with more than 15 years worth of data.
Earlier today I downloaded the trial Moneydance but then uninstalled it because I was unsure how to proceed. Among my questions are: 1) My PC is Windows 10, and it has both 32-bit and 64-bit programs. What version should I install?; 2) My current Quicken is 2014, and all of my files are .QDF, which is not one of the options I was given in the download section. When I tried to create a data set, I was not able to select any of my Quicken files; and 3) my default browser is Google. Is there any conflict?
Thanks

You almost certainly have a 64bit computer. You should try the 64bit version.
You first need to open your data with Quicken and export all of your accounts to a QIF file. You can then import the QIF file into Moneydance. There are detailed instructions here:

Your choice of browser is unrelated to this process.
