    Hi Tony

What is your computers operating system?
Is it 32bit or 64 bit?

It's a 64 bit machine that we mistakenly installed a 32 bit OS on.

    Hi Tony

Unfortunately, Moneydance 2019 will only run on 64bit computers.

The last version that supported both 32 and 64bit was 2017.

Perhaps you could upgrade your operating system. 32-bit software in general will become increasingly hard to come by.

You can try 2017 by downloading from

Your 2019 key however will not work. Once you have exceeded the 100 manually entered transition limit you would need a 2017 key. I expect support would provide a 2017 key as you have paid.

    Hope this helps.

The above information is correct that the last version that will work on 32-bit systems is Moneydance 2017. If you're able to upgrade your operating system I'd recommend it, as you'll likely encounter more issues like this over the next few years. However, if you're not ready to do that, we can issue you a 2017 key if you have already purchased a 2019 one.

I would agree, that if all possible, you move to use a 64 bit version of Windows. It proves all options in that it will run 64 bit applications but it can also run all Windows 32 bit applications as well
