If you tried to import a QDF file you will find it does not work. QDF is a Quicken proprietary format, other vendors cannot read this format so it is necessary to export the transaction data from Quicken into the QIF format which Moneydance can process.

dwgtag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/483556072020-05-22T22:13:40Z2020-05-22T22:13:41Zimporting my quicken file

was successful. tnx. wow this does much a better job than Quicken
everything was imported smoothly with all transfers! Quicken doesn't stop
asking me stupid questions while importing.

can i also import the reminders?

Eliezer Hersh Eisenbergertag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/483556072020-05-22T22:30:30Z2020-05-22T22:30:30Zimporting my quicken file

I'm a fellow user.

There is no provision in the QIF format for reminders, so no there is no way of extracting or importing them.

You can use an existing transaction in Moneydance to create a reminder however. Right click on a transaction and one of the options is to create reminder, this will take you to a screen where you can set the parameters for the reminder and save it.

dwg
