<p>The software is installed on your machine and all data is store on the local machine.</p>
<p>The only time external servers are used are if you want to sync between different machines, and in such a case you need a data exchange area. The data stays on your Mac. You can optionally use your Dropbox if you like to sync to another computer, but that’s up to you.</p>
