I'm considering purchasing MoneyDance, but I want to make certain that I don't have to save any personal information on the cloud. I want to be able to download the software, and work from my Mac. Is this possible? Thank you.

I'm a fellow user.
The software is installed on your machine and all data is store on the local machine.
The only time external servers are used are if you want to sync between different machines, and in such a case you need a data exchange area. In this case however all data is end to end encrypted.

I would suggest you download and try Moneydance in trial mode to see if it meets your needs before you purchase it.

100% local. The data stays on your Mac. You can optionally use your Dropbox if you like to sync to another computer, but that’s up to you.
