Moneydance for my Mac
If I purchase Moneydance for my Mac through the Apple App Store, the initial cost is $49.99. How much are follow-on releases?
What is difference in the software between purchased through Apple vs Infinitekind?
Thank you.

I am not support staff, just a user
Hi Reed
If you purchase direct from this site the next major version is free and after that you get a 50% discount from then on.
As far a I if you purchase from Apple store you pay full price for each major version.
New builds within a major release come out first on this site, there is always a delay getting to Apple store.
This site also allows you to update using preview builds with can fix bugs faster than waiting for a build release and Apple don’t support preview builds.
The Apple version also includes some restrictions.
No contest, purchase direct.
Hope this helps

Direct is the way to go.
Join the Moneydance facebook group, and you might get a nice surprise.
You'll have to dig for it though.
Also, there is no requirement to upgrade.
There are situations where you will want to - i.e Mac OS upgrades which won't work with old versions of Moneydance.
