Hi Reed

If you purchase direct from this site the next major version is free and after that you get a 50% discount from then on.

As far a I if you purchase from Apple store you pay full price for each major version.
New builds within a major release come out first on this site, there is always a delay getting to Apple store.

This site also allows you to update using preview builds with can fix bugs faster than waiting for a build release and Apple don’t support preview builds.

The Apple version also includes some restrictions.

No contest, purchase direct.

Hope this helps

derekkent23tag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/488276862020-11-14T00:32:42Z2020-11-14T00:46:24ZMoneydance for my Mac

Direct is the way to go.

Join the Moneydance facebook group, and you might get a nice surprise.
You'll have to dig for it though.

Also, there is no requirement to upgrade.
There are situations where you will want to - i.e Mac OS upgrades which won't work with old versions of Moneydance.

dtdtag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/488276862020-11-15T18:36:21Z2020-11-15T18:36:22ZMoneydance for my Mac

Thanks.
I don't do facebook so I am out of luck.
