You could easily have 1 dataset for 1 company and another dataset for another company. They could be completely separate. You would have to setup / manage each dataset separately though (e.g. account/categories, reports).</p>
<p>OR you could have one dataset and use different named accounts for each company and then have separate reports to filter out which company you want.</p>
<p>NOTE: Moneydance isn’t set up for true company accounting. It doesn’t have a trial balance for example. It just knows accounts and whatever income/expense categories that you choose to add</p>
