is there a browser based version
Hi, I can't install programs on my work computer - is there a web based version?

No Moneydance is always installed locally and runs with local data on the computer.

I'm a fellow user and I've not tried this myself, but there is an old post here - which, candidly, may be well out-of-date (@dwg, can you comment?) but you could explore it at your own risk and in your own time with the trial version if you cared to.

Always providing you can run programs from an attached USB on your work computer in the first place of course! :-)

Yes it is out of date. The Moneydance structure was very different back in the 2000's.
If you are asking if it is technically possible to run Moneydance (incl the data) completely from a USB connected device, then I believe the answer is yes, I go part of the way as I have set up a test machine to run multiple versions of Moneydance from the one user account.
You would have to do a custom install to the USB device. The key things though are that you would need to create a custom script file (or batch file on Windows) and within this file use symbolic links (junction points on Windows) to have folders appearing where Moneydance thinks they should. Of course you would have to do the post running clean up etc within the script.
Of course all of this is totally unsupported so you would be on your own.
