Base Currency of File

Hi,
I live in Canada and bought Quicken Home & Office and will be returning it since it does not support many Canadian financial institutions nor does it allow manual imports of CSV or OFX formats.
As a result I was hoping that Money Dance would work for me and I have these questions:
When I converted my data from Quicken some accounts seems to bring in a conversion to USD or some other factor where some accounts come in as is. Is there a way to say I want to work exclusively in CDN dollars. In addition, one of my bank accounts came in as negative number even though the other account from the same bank shows correctly. Could this be from importing the data from Quicken vs individual OFX files

    I'm a fellow customer.

The approach I would try, is to create a new empty data file before I start importing, ensuing the currency is set to CDN.

During the import when the software provides the details of the accounts it will create ensure that all are set to CDN.

Balance problems of bank and credit card accounts are often caused by Quicken not providing the initial balance in the transfer data, if this is the case then you just need to set this in Moneydance.

The data you bring form Quicken in QIF files will have category information, data in OFX files does not have any category information which is why they are only used for downloads and not for migration.
