Upgrade Issues
I have used moneydance 2011 for over 10-yrs and chose not to upgrade because "if its not broke, don't fix it." I recently got a new computer and purchased 2022.
When I try to open and "convert" my 2011 file to 2022 the password is not accepted. I can open the file in 2011 with the same password. Is there something special I need to do to my 2011 file to be able to run the conversion to 2022?

Disable the password first. File/passwords and under the password then try the upgrade again
OR upgrade to 2021 version first and then to 2022 (so two steps).

Thank you, I actually found the 2021 then 2022 workaround just after I sent
the email!
