Quicken Categories
When I imported to MoneyDance from Quicken, some of the account categories did not import properly. I see a BLUE DOT next to these transactions. These all defaulted to the first category, by alpha-numeric, of my Quicken categories. I see the options on the right to merge, but I have far too many blue dots to go through these one at a time. Thoughts?

I think I might understand what has happened but not necessarily why.
With QIF files they can either be transaction download from a financial institution or QIF file from another program, in this case Quicken.
The fact you are getting blue dots, and transactions are going to the first category says that one or more files are being interpreted as institution downloads.
I would be looking at the QIF file to see what they look like, they may lack the header info that is usually present in program generated QIF files, the QIF files may be missing category info for the transactions or ....
I'm suspicious about the imported files, their content and structure directly impacts how they are handled.
