Hello,

I'm trying to import a QIF exported from Banktivity 7. The progress bar gets about 60% complete and then the attached java error pops up. I looked through the transaction history in Banktivity for that Bond and I don't see any purchase amounts for that number. Any ideas what the problem is?

I would suggest checking the QIF file for a negative price rather than amount.

Ok, I opened the QIF file in TextEdit and found the problem. It seems like on one of the divided reinvestment transactions for this fund, the share price got recorded with a negative value. Interestingly enough, this didn't affect the actual transaction in Banktivity. It still recorded the correct amount of shares and the correct total cost.
But correcting that and then reexporting solved the problem of importing into Moneydance.

Good that you solved it. I can really only take it that Banktivity possibly ignores negative numbers.
