There is an article on "Ask Woody" website regarding Quicken and Intuits issues called "The Quickening".
It appears that many of the comments are praising Moneydance as a replacement to Quicken.

I found MD to be the best solution for me.

Interesting.... wish I could have read Will Fastie's article, but the comments themselves were worth reading.

I'd say that MD was in the running, but I found the "last MSMoney" crowd to be right up there as well.

I agree MSMoney still has its followers.

Change is difficult, especially for something like personal finances where years of data is involved.

In my case Quicken, after decades of use, was no longer worth the trouble or cost, not to mention security issues.

I had run both Q and MD side by side for a full year before fully transitioning to MD, (that is what I mean by change can be difficult).

My experience with MD was flawless with no issues and have been very satisfied with the change.
