share prices
Hi
I have imported bank info and shares info in a single .QIF file from Quicken 2000 and the bank values are all ok but the share values are 100 times greater than actual because the original quicken data prices were in GB pence and moneydance seems to assume pence are pounds.
I cannot see a way to correct this - do you have any recommendations
Best regards
mike

Hi Mike,
Try this...
Open Moneydance.
From the menu bar go to Extensions > Quotes & Exchange Rates.
In the resulting window, locate the securities in question. Look to the 'Stock Exchange' column. Click on the drop-down list and change the exchange to 'London Exchange (Pence)'.

// Hi Kevin
Thanks it works for the latest price of the shares but where I had added
further shares from the same company these are still incorrect in the
register by a factor of 100 so the cost basis is too great. Seems like I
may have to correct each individual transaction in the register?

I don't think there is an automatic solution for the problem you are having. I think you will have to fix it by hand.

Hi Ben
I have corrected them by hand it did not take too long. One slight problem
is the 1year , 3 year and 5 year percentages in the portfolio report are all
incorrect because the incorrect history is saved. Can this history be
deleted without loosing any transaction details?

Yes, the price is stored with each individual transaction, deleting the history will not affect the transactions.
