Switching to Money dance
Dear sir/ Madam,
I am an Indian senior citizen with an aim to manage my personal investments in Indian Mutual funds, Indian Equities( though a very small proportion) and some Fixed income investments. I am not computer savvy but have very elementary computer knowledge. with this objective and my technical limitations, will moneydance be the right software for me, or will it be too advanced for me

I'm a fellow user,
Really all I can say is download it and try it out in trial mode.
Many seniors use Moneydance but we span a very broad range of capability, experience and skill levels, really only you can decide.
Most complexity in my mind comes as you get more involved in investments. Bank accounts and Credit cards are fairly straightforward as far as I am concerned, but investments can get complex due to their nature in the first place.
I would suggest you take a look at the Knowledge Base which is like an online manual for Moneydance that may give you a feel for the software:

We encourage you to download our free trial version and experiment with the program. You can download the trial version of Moneydance from our website on this page.
The trial version is fully functional and allows you to manually enter 100 transactions. Imported transactions are not limited, so you'll be able to fully test downloading data from your bank, and importing data from other personal finance software.
If you decide to purchase the program at a later date you can keep all data you have entered during the trial period.
In order to get started, please refer to this article of the Knowledge Base and follow the links listed on the right hand side of your screen.
Finally, you may want to refer to this article describing the First Steps with Moneydance in an easy and comprehensive manner.
