Where is data filed in MD 2015 ?
Where is my data stored in MD 2015 please, and how can I quickly search for it ? (Mac Yosemite 10.10.2)
I successfully converted (with your help) from MD 2010.
I want to search out the MD data file in my Mac Time Machine and verify that Time Machine is indeed backing up and that I can retrieve it. In MD 2010 I could search on ".MD" in Finder to find the data and then I could copy it to flash drives. Also once it was hot in Finder I could invoke Time Machine and all of the Time Machine backups displayed.
I can't seem to find the data file in MD 2015.
I am aware that I can export from MD 2015 using File/Export, but that does not help me verify Time Machine. Time Machine is desirable because it automatic and I don't forget to backup manually.
Thanks for your help.

Question continued.
I tried to find the data using the path shown in your suggested FAQ document, but I could not find "containers" in the Library Folder.
I tried opening "data" in the drop down box under the name at the top of the summary screen, but it took me to a folder with a date back when I converted, plus or minus. When I invoked Time Machine on that file it took me to a display of folders, also with the old date ???? can I restore data from that Time Machine File?

Hi Bob,
If you followed these instructions:
http://help.infinitekind.com/kb/moneydance-2015/where-is-my-data-stored
to locate your data, then it sounds like you found it. Because Moneydance stores your data in folders, it doesn't always update the modification time of the folder when the data within it is updated, so the most recent update time doesn't necessarily reflect when the data was most recently updated.
I hope that clarifies! Please let us know if we can be of further assistance!
