Printing checks
Currently using Microsoft Money and will be moving to Windows 10 which it will not work in and am looking for a good alternative. I print our checks through Money and was wondering if your product has the same capabilities.

Hi Rlanser,
I'm terribly sorry for our delayed response! Somehow your inquiry slipped through the cracks.
Yes, Moneydance can print checks! If you haven't already, I encourage you to download our free trial version and experiment with the program before you decide if you would like to purchase it. The demo version is fully functional and allows you to manually enter 100 transactions. Imported transactions are not limited, so you'll be able to fully test connections with your bank. If you decide to purchase the program at a later date you can keep all your data, the license key simply unlocks the ability to manually enter more transactions. You can download the trial version of Moneydance from here:

For more information on how to get the most out of your trial period, check out our blog post on the subject.
Please let me know if I can be of further assistance, and thank you for your interest in Moneydance!

I’ll give this a try. I have looking for a good replacement for Microsoft Money and this may fit the bill. Quiken is just way overkill as far as I’m concerned.
Can the files in Money be imported into your program and if so how can this be done?
Ron

Microsoft Money like most like most financial programs stores data in a proprietary format so it is necessary to export the data into a common format, often this will be QIF
The MoneyDance folks have created a knowledge base article on this:
