Compatability Issues
September 12, 2015
On September 1, 2015, I purchased a new Lenovo desk top computer. It is a tower with a separate monitor. The new tower has 8 MB of RAM and 1 Terrabyte of hard drive. Windows 10 has been installed on the Lenovo computer tower.
My previous computer was a HP which ran on Vista. I had Microsoft Money 2007 Deluxe installed on the HP program and have been told that Microsoft Money is not compatible with Windows 10.
Is Moneydance 2015 compatible with Windows 10? And, if so, can Moneydance read the Microsoft Money 2007 Deluxe data that was downloaded and installed on my new computer?
I would appreciated your responses to these two questions.
Thank you very much.

Moneydance does work on Windows 10.
Moneydance cannot import MS Money data files directly. You first need to run MS Money and export each of your accounts to QIF files. The QIF files can then be imported into Moneydance.

Hi jgibson0117,
Look to the following KB article for step-by-step instructions:
http://help.infinitekind.com/kb/importing-data-from-banks-and-other...
You could also Google / Bing 'Running MS Money on Win 10'. There is a simple registry hack to make it work.
Follow the standard precautions when editing the registry.
I have not tried this hack personally. Win 10 broke too many of my working programs and I reverted back to Win 7.
