Moneydance 5 disappeared
I just purchased the upgrade to Moneydance 5 and used to for hours to update my finances. When I went to open it this morning the program was gone. Not anywhere in applications or finder. I am trying to transition from MD 2010 which is still on my computer.. My trial version of MD 5 has disappeared spontaneously before, but I thought when I bought the upgrade this would not recur.

First of all I want to clarify that the 5 at the end of the file name is not the version of Moneydance. That number is added by finder when you have multiple files with the same name. e.g. if you have a file in your downloads folder called "Moneydance" and then you download Moneydance again you will then have an additional file in your Downloads folder called "Moneydance 2".
I encourage you to check your Downloads folder for the Moneydance app. If you don't see it there you should download it again. Once you have downloaded it you need to manually move it to your Applications folder.
