deleting data and starting again

It took me several attempts to import 20 yrs worth of Quicken data, but now I have managed it, the data seems to be randomly allocated between a few accounts, and most accounts are empty. Investments all seem to be in triplicate. Clearly I imported wrongly (though I thought I had followed your guidance exactly), so I decided to delete it all and start again. I couldn't work out how to do this, so I uninstalled Moneydance and then reinstalled it, assuming that would give me a blank database, but the data is all still there. What do you advise?

    Hi Jackie,

From the Moneydance menu bar, go to Help > Show Documents Folder.
A file browser will open to the default location for Moneydance data sets.
    Close Moneydance.
Delete the data sets in the aforementioned window. Data sets are in the following format:
    filename.moneydance
    Reopen Moneydance.

Alternatively you can run Moneydance and from the menu bar select File->New...
