Convert from Q2015 or download transactions?

The new release of Quicken for Mac 2015 scrambled my accounts. I have managed to unscramble them, but in the process it has created duplicate savings accounts from my credit union. Am I better off importing the Quicken data and deleting duplicate accounts of simply creating a new account from my credit union and letting it upload transactions? Thank you. I am very impressed with what I am reading and do intend to buy this program. It's just a question of how I begin.

    Hi Jim,

I'm not quite sure which is the best way to begin as it sounds a bit like 6 of one, half a dozen of the other. If you can download your transactions and re-create the account details with relative ease, then that may be the way to go, otherwise fixing the accounts may be better. Either way, you can import your data from Quicken 2015 into Moneydance with these instructions:

Please let us know if we can be of further assistance!
