<p>If you purchased MD2015 you should be entitled to a free upgrade to MD2017 which would also resolve the problem.</p>

<p>I'm not a Mac user but in generally I would never advise having more than one version of moneydance installed on your key machine under the one user login and certainly not have two different major versions installed. While the file formats are the same between 2015 & 2017 the software capabilities are different and I could envisage accidentally opening the older version and adversely affecting your set up.
