<p>Sorry to hear about the problems you've encountered.</p>
<p>Can you let me know which of your computers contains the original data file you use for syncing? i.e. which computer you initially setup syncing from.</p>
<p>Can you ensure the Mac and Windows systems are both running the same version and build of Moneydance?<br>
To check, open Moneydance and select Help --> About Moneydance (or Moneydance --> About Moneydance on a Mac) where the version and build number will be displayed.</p>
<p>The latest stable version is 2017.7.1. build 1671 and can be downloaded from <a href="https://infinitekind.com/download-moneydance-personal-finance-software">this page</a> if you're running an older version on either system.</p>
<p>Can you let me know which system you're using to input transactions? And can you confirm that these transactions aren't showing up on any other devices/systems?<br>
Does one of the systems contain all the data you need going forward, and if so, which one?</p>
<p>Sorry for so many questions. Once I fully understand whats happening, I should be better placed to provide corrective steps.</p>

<p>‘which computer you initially setup syncing from?’ I folllowed derekket2’s suggestion (in the thread — My .moneydancesync folder, can I delete dated old files? And ran the python script, to set the Mac to primary. It wasn’t before.</p>
<p>Running latest, 1671, on Mac and Windows.</p>
<p>On iPad, get ‘Loading account . . .’ And doesn’t.</p>
<p>Main machine is iMac. All up to date. Folder goes to Dropbox. but doesn’t sync with others. Have MD in the Dropbox settings.</p>
<p>Currently, I have MD on Windows 7, set to Dropbox Connection, not Dropbox Folder. Mac is set to Dropbox Folder and is writing moneydancesync, but doesn’t give the syncing text on quit. Windows 7 appears to be in sync with Mac.</p>

<p>I have uninstalled MD from Windows 7 (deleting the MD Documents folder/file), iPad and iPhone,</p>
<p>Deledted .moneydancesync folder everywhere.</p>
<p>I’ve gone to DropBox and discconnected MD.</p>
<p>It’s only MD on the Mac, set to don’t sync.</p>
<p>I I ran the ‘secondary to master’ Python script. Re-stgared MD.</p>
<p>Set MD to Dropbox Folder.</p>
