iPad no sync
I had three devices (maximum number now linkable to the same Dropbox free accountt) : one PC, one iPhone and one iPad and Moneydance worked perfeclly on all three.. Now I had to reinstall from scratch my iPad and now the situation is as follows. I can access dropbox files from all the three devices, but Moneydance works only on PC and iPhone and is stuck in iPad trying to access the sync files which is anyway detected. What am I supposed to do?

What version and build of Moneydance are you running. e.g. 2019.3(1870)?
What syncing method are you using, Dropbox Folder or Dropbox Connection?

2019.1 (1855) – Dropbox Folder (I suppose – the systems sync through .Moneydance directory files). What is Dropbox Connection? Does a new version of Moneydance (2019.3) exist?. Regards

Amendment: I use actually Dropbox connection that is a .Moneydance file on a common Dropbox connection. Does Dropbox folder sync mean to copy every time the -.Moneydance locally? How does it work with iPhone and iPad? It doesn’t seem possible to use local directories with these devices. Regards

On your computer with "Dropbox Connection" Moneydance uses the Dropbox API (as used by the Moneydance mobile app) to talk to the Dropbox service directly. So, you don't need to have Dropbox client actually installed on your computer, but you do need to be online when Moneydance is running in order for changes to be synced. With "Drobox Folder" Moneydance will just read and write files to your Dropbox folder on your computer, which means that you need to have Dropbox client installed and running, but you don't need to be online in order for Moneydance to read and write the changes. Syncing will occur when you go online.

I'm a fellow user.
Dropbox folder and Dropbox connection are only significant on Desktop/notebook computers.
Mobile devices effectively always use Dropbox connection since Moneydance always passes data to/from these devices by directly using the Dropbox API.

The Moneydance mobile app uses an emended Dropbox API, it does not use any official Dropbox app you may have installed. So yes, the Moneydance Mobile app will still sync via your Dropbox account to other devices running Moneydance even if the mobile device does not have the official Dropbox app installed.

It will make no difference if you remove the official Dropbox mobile app from your iPad or not the Moneydance app on your iPad should still work.
As I posted in your other thread you need to reset syncing.
On your computer set Don’t Sync as the syncing method.
On both your mobile devices ensure the moneydance apps are disconnect to prevent syncing.
If you have Dropbox Client installed on your computer delete the “.moneydancesync” folder in Dropbox. Otherwise delete this folder by signing into your account online.
Restart syncing from the start. Computer, then the mobile devices.
Give time between each step for Dropbox to sync.
