It's honestly difficult to say without knowing in more detail what has happened. Can you explain in any more detail how the information was "corrupted?" Is it possible that you just had a different data file open?

I think the most we can do here if everything now seems ok is to go to File -> Export Backup from the menu bar to make a complete copy of your data as it currently is. That way you'll have something to restore if there is some deeper problem going on.

If you do have issues like this again, I'd first advise looking at the recently opened file list in File -> Open, and seeing if one of those contains your more up to date data.

Thanks: I can't say anything about the corrupted file as it was just a
mess.

I will go to file export backup on both computers. How do I look at that data?

Will that be a copy of the most recent data?

File -> Export Backup makes a complete copy of the data file you have open. You can read more and see screenshots about making and restoring backups in this way at: https://infinitekind.tenderapp.com/kb/backups-and-exporting/backups
