Budget info on iPhone / Android apps

I'm loving the ability to have MoneyDance transactions across all devices - we have it on an Apple Mac, Windows laptop, Android Phone, iPhone, and iPad and finding it really useful.

One improvement request though: it would be really cool to be able to see the Budget on the mobile devices - it is one thing to be able to add and see transactions, but would be even better to know how close to budget limits we are when out and about.

Is that in plan?

    Hi Jonathan,

Currently, the mobile app is an add on to the main desktop program, and only has very basic functions like viewing and editing transactions. There's an existing ticket in our suggestion tracking system with the request to add budget functionality to the mobile app. I've attached the ticket to this discussion, and I'll pass your feedback to the developers.

We do also have long-term plans to have a full version for iOS and Android, however it will be a little while. We have already setup the syncing infrastructure for it, but an app like Moneydance is large enough that there are a lot of details to work out still. Unfortunately we cant provide a time scale for this, but when this becomes available, we will be sure to notify our customers.
