Budget report problem with latest version (2020)

I have several income categories which have negative amounts for various reasons. Although the amounts are correctly entered in the transaction ledger and in the budget portion of the program, the budget report for the new version shows those income amounts as positive. For instance, category1 is a monthly income amount of -400. However, the budget report shows the budgeted amount as 400, with the actual amount as -400, for a difference of 800. In actuality, both budgeted and actual should be -400, with a difference of 0.

This was not a problem until the new release. If if takes too long to fix it, please let me have access of version 2019.3, which worked as I needed. Unfortunately I overwrote 2019.3 with the new release. Thanks!
