Have you checked under File --> Preferences on the Summary Page tab to ensure that Budget Bars have been added to display on the Summary Page.

dwgtag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/487679032020-10-28T17:13:56Z2020-10-28T17:13:56ZSummary Budget Bars

dwg - finally got the the budget brass to show up on the Summary page but they only show the total amounts with a green line surrounding. There is note on the far right of the bar stating "Not in budget". All categories have budgets assigned to them in the budget module. Can't find how to turn on the component features of the budget bar. Any suggestions? thanks

superbob.rgtag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/487679032020-10-30T16:48:59Z2020-10-30T16:50:28ZSummary Budget Bars

The only "component" feature/s I know is that you can mouse over (put mouse on) a bar and see a popup window showing the category total and the total/s of any child category/s. Note, however, that contra (or negative amount) child categories do not sum correctly. If the bar category has not child categories, the window will show only the bar category actual percentage (of budget) value.

FWIW, I use a separate budget for the page overhead Income/Expense bars and the summary page budget bars to make things easier. The overhead I/C bars budget is "new" style and the summary bars budget is "mixed intervals - old" style - I find the old style type easier to manage for the summary page bars.

avp2
