As far as I can observe, nothing has changed. You can track principal payments on the "mixed interval" budget, but not on the default calendar style budget. They indicated they were going to fix that, but it hasn't changed. You can budget the interest expense separately, but as you know, principal and interest on a loan changes each month and MD does not let you budget an account payment, just the principal and interest and only on the "mixed interval" setup. I continue to use workarounds to track loan payments in my budget. This also allows me to predict my budget using Money Foresight.
