I have my budget set up with categories and sub-categories. I set by budget amount on the parent category. For example, I have a parent category of auto. The sub-categories are fuel, service, insurance, etc. When I view the monthly budget, I would like for moneydance to add the money spent in the sub-categories to the parent category so that I can track how much is spent on the parent category. Is there any way to do this?

I don't think the MD Budget will allow. I think that has been brought up before.

I agree. This would be a great feature (needed, really) and I cannot understand why it has not yet been implemented. Not implementing it goes against the principle of this software.
