I am currently using a budget program (not transferable into) so I have "budget balances" to input along with monthly budget "deposits" as such. I see a heading (in categories) for start balance but no where to actually enter the amounts. Can anyone help? (Able to respond until 2:30 CT, then after 5:00 CT. Thank you. Also, is there an actual "user guide" that actually lays out all the information/input methods. Again, thanks.

Barbtag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/546930922022-06-18T00:12:16Z2022-06-18T00:12:16ZEntering amounts

Hello,

To set up budget amounts for each category, you can first choose the budget type you want to set up, and then input the amounts for each category in a given time period. The steps for this are explained in detail with screenshots at: https://infinitekind.tenderapp.com/kb/budgeting-2

There isn't a place to input spending beyond your account registers, which are integrated with your budgets. For example, if you enter in a transaction from your credit card account for $100 with the Groceries category, the program will also register that you spent $100 in Groceries throughout the program: in your budgets, reports, etc. Hopefully the above link will make that more clear.

We have detailed information on almost every aspect of the program in that online Knowledge Base I linked to (https://infinitekind.tenderapp.com/kb/), and I'd be happy to answer any specific questions you may have.

Please let me know if I can be of further assistance,
