Current budgets cannot be set to use tax dates. This causes problems reconciling displayed values with reports using tax dates. The added checkbox could be added to the budget specification windows and work similar to the box in the Ratios and Custom Balances extensions. Actually, though Tax Dates are used in register windows by default, it might be handy to add this check box to register windows (and any other transaction display that does not have such a box already) also - maybe changing the "Use Tax Dates" in MD general preferences an enable or just leaving it out while keeping the function.

UPDATE: Forgot to mention that the Summary page Income/Expense Thermometer also seems to not use Tax Dates. It too should have the check box added, at least use Tax Dates if they are selected in MD general preferences.
