I have been using MoneyDance a long time because it works so well for me. But I'm getting tired of trying to figure out how to make the old style budget each year. Isn't there a procedure somewhere that I can download as a guide? I just turned 90 and I'm getting tired of stumbling through make shift processes until I can finally get it right for an other year.

    just a user.

I suppose your using the old style mixed interval budget like I do. I simply leave the budget items with no end date and let them continue year to year. The only changes I make is when my social security payments, property tax, and insurance changes. On social security, I just create another reminder for with the new year amount and put an end date on the current year. Same with property tax and insurance. Not really that much effort to keep it current.

    Hi Bill,
Thank you for contacting Moneydance support.

I can see you’ve received a reply from one of our knowledgeable Moneydance customers. To add to this useful information I thought it's worth referring this article of the Knowledge Base about the "Mixed Interval" Budget Format.

I hope this information is helpful. Please let us know if you have further questions or need more assistance.
