I was trying to set up 2016 budgets. I have pulled up the screen with the budget table, and have been attempting to insert budget values by clicking on the right column (of the 0 of 0). When I click to open the the field, it allows me to enter a value. But when I hit "ENTER" to record it, the value reverts to 0. None of the values I have "saved" seem to be there. This happen on all budget categories.

I also tried the "copy previous period" commands - right clicking brings up the choices, and it allows me to select on, but then nothing happens / the numbers remain blank.

I have the same problem. Also, even when I succeed in entering budget values, the budget bars in the summary page are wrong or say "not in budget."

I wonder if Moneydance has a hard time switching between budgets; I think it's using values from an experimental budget that I set up and later deleted, but it's hard to tell.

    Hello,

Can you please verify the exact version of Moneydance you are using? Go to Help -> Console Window and paste the first several lines in your reply.

I am having the same issue. Not trying to do anything fancy. I just want to create a 2016 budget based on last year's actuals. I followed the steps in the manual and checked the knowledge base. I can't get it to pull last years figures... for some reason it always tries to putt the amount from the previous month. This is very frustrating for something that should be quite simple.
