I am trying to work with a program that allows me to record my daily transactions i.e. groceries, medical, coffee, etc. then total them into the monthly budget; will this do that and is there a manual or something that instructs me through usage

Say my items are unscheduled i.e. groceries Tuesday, Costco Thursday, just stopping in a store and not the same every week or month, how do I record

    Hello,

I apologize for the delay in our response; somehow your message slipped by us. You can definitely set up budget line items for each expense category in Moneydance. You can set monthly budgets for each category, and then whenever you add a transaction in any account with that expense category, it will be reflected in that budget item.

If you haven't already, I encourage you to download our free trial version from http://infinitekind.com/downloads and experiment with the program before you decide if you would like to purchase it. The demo version is fully functional and allows you to manually enter 100 transactions. Imported transactions are not limited, so you'll be able to fully test things like importing from other programs and connections with your bank. If you decide to purchase the program at a later date you can keep all your data, the license key simply unlocks the ability to manually enter more transactions.

In case you haven't found it yet, our full user guide can be downloaded from http://help.infinitekind.com/kb/user-guides
