Gosh that is terrible. I have reproduced the problem and filed a bug ticket and contacted the developers.

Came here to file it, and found it ...

Just adding my vote to this one as a significant problem - makes finding discrepancies when comparing to bank statements much harder. - guessing you'll be getting more on this as it's the end of the month and a lot of us are reconciling about now...

Found another problem - If you click New in the Reconcile window, and add an entry, it doesn't show when you go back to the Reconcile window. I added savings interest for May in the savings ledger and when I switched back to Reconcile it wasn't there. I went back to the ledger and saw that the interest had the reconciled indicator on. I double clicked the entry, went back to Reconcile and it then showed. These bugs need to be fixed ASAP.

I have also seen the problem that Mike E mentions -- the reconcile window not fully updating after transaction changes. This was a major problem several years ago, but had disappeared until build 790.

Just went through monthly reconciliation yesterday and encountered the same bug on build 790. Also, the "unconfirmed" transaction filter button no longer is an option at the top of a bank account - it's still there on investment accounts and I find it useful regardless of account type.

Hi Laura,
Look to the right of the 'New Transaction' button in the upper right. Click on the icon of a split window.

I'm having a similar problem on build 791, macintosh version. I have three uncleared (unmarked) transactions in the register, but only the first of these appears in the reconcile window, even after exiting and re-entering the application.

Ben Littauer: your problem is entirely different from the subject of this thread, so I advise you to start a new thread (discussion). You won't get proper attention to your problem when it's buried in a different discussion.
