Canandaigua National Bank is an excellent local bank in upstate NY. The website is www.cnbank.com. I have emailed them to contact you regarding support. They currently have a web banking interface.. What does it take to interface with Moneydance?

    Mark,

Unfortunately, it doesn't appear that your bank supports direct OFX connections, which Moneydance (and other financial software) requires in order to talk directly to a bank. The best way to get your transactions into Moneydance is to use a web browser to download them from your bank's web site. You can download into QFX, OFX or OFC files (aka Quicken or MS Money files), any of which will import cleanly into Moneydance.

If your bank begins to support direct OFX connections in the future, we will be happy to work with them.

Please let me know if I can be of further assistance, and thank you for your interest in Moneydance.

Thank you for the response! I have been downloading OFX/QFX files
successfully from the bank, so it's no biggie.. however, I will lobby
Canandaigua National to consider adding this feature in the future. I
have seen it work with Bank of America, and it is nice to enter
transactions once into Moneydance and have the software transmit the
future payment automatically to the bank.

Moneydance is working very well with the credit cards we have and the
new transaction matching in 2010r743 is much better than r735.

One question: is there a way to improve the fonts under Linux? I know
this a Java related problem, but if you had any suggestions... ?

    Mark,

When you say "improve fonts," do you mean "adjust the size" or "make them more attractive"? For the former, go to File->Preferences->General and adjust the font size. For the latter, it's basically a Java issue, so I don't have any advice for this issue. I'm sorry I don't have a more satisfactory answer.

Please let me know if I can be of further assistance,
