OFX connections, which Moneydance requires in order to talk
directly to a bank. The best way to get your transactions into
Moneydance is to use a web browser to download them from your
bank's web site. You can download into QFX, OFX, OFC, or QIF files
(sometimes referred to as Quicken or MS Money files), any of which
will import cleanly into Moneydance. You can also open your bank's
download page directly (after entering the appropriate address in
the Account->Edit Account menu) by going to the menu bar and
selecting Online->Open Account Website.

If your bank begins to support direct OFX connections in the
future, we will be happy to work with them.

Please let me know if I can be of further assistance,

mean that it should work?

I also installed ibank and it works through them too.

Quicken has two methods to automate the download of transactions
one is direct connect and the other is often called Web
Connect.

Web Connect is a method licensed by Quicken and uses your normal
web login details and basically automates the downloading and
importing of files containing the transactions.

The other method is Direct connect, this is an open method so
any vendor can use it but it often requires different login
information and enablement of the service as different
infrastructure is used. Unfortunately Islanders Bank does not offer
this service.

Hope this helps, and feel free to contact us for any additional
support!

is better for several reasons but sounds like my small local bank
can't do it. As I recall, Wells Fargo charges an extra fee ($20 per
month) for Direct Connect.
