Hi Randy,
First, I'm very sorry for our delay in fixing this! However, we now have a build out that should allow you to connect again. You can download the updated moneydance.jar file that you need at: http://moneydance.com/download/2010/Upgrade/newcert/moneydance.jar
Here are instructions on how to install this file. This should work on all platforms:
1) Go to whatever directory you have Moneydance installed in. There should be a file named "moneydance.jar". Rename that file to something else, like "moneydance.jar.original".
2) Copy the file you downloaded into your install directory.
3) You should now be able to connect to Prudential.
Please let me know if you have any trouble installing this file or connecting after you've updated.

The new .jar file did not fix the certificate issue. Any other ideas?

Hi Randy,
Unfortunately, it looks like there is something else going on here besides the cert update. I'll need to look into it and see if maybe there's something else that changed. Sorry for the inconvenience. I'll get back to you shortly with more information.

Hi Randy,
Could you try disabling your current connection to Prudential and then recreating it using the New Connection button on the Online Banking Setup screen. To do so, you can follow these steps:
1) Select your bank account in Moneydance
2) Select the Online->Setup Online Banking button/menu
3) Click the "Disable" button. If you don't see a disable button, continue to step 5.
4) Select the Online->Setup Online Banking button/menu (again)
5) Click the "New Connection" button and select your bank and hit OK
6) Continue with the setup process, entering your username/password
7) Repeat steps 1-6 for any additional accounts
Make sure you pick new connection, even though your bank is still one of the connection choices after you disable it. Choosing your bank from the list of available banks will force Moneydance to download the updated information, which should then allow you to connect.
Please let me know if you continue to have connection problems after recreating your connection.

Jessica,
I get the same behavior as Don when I disconnect and try to reconnect.

Hi. I have had the same problem with BECU for about 3 weeks now. I use an iMac, Mac OS X 10.6.5. I can't find a moneydance.jar file to replace, just the MacOS moneydance.app. I did try to create the connection new, and got the same error as Don in message 6 above.

Here's what another user suggested for finding the jar file on a Mac:
In Finder, go to the applications.
Right click on the Moneydance icon.
Choose "Show package contents"
Click "contents"
Click "resources"
Click "java"
That's where the moneydance.jar file will be. You can rename it and then drag and drop the new file into that folder.

Hi All,
Sorry for the long delay on this. I've attached a new moneydance.jar file that should allow you to connect to Prudential. You can install it using the directions posted previously. Please let me know if you have any trouble installing it or if you still can't connect after it's installed.
