For historical files my bank credit card only has csv files. When I import using the txt importer, it works fine except the items do not have the blue dot, that means i cant use the confirm method on the side, which allows you to merge and confirm the category. this is much easir than changing each one in the check register. is there a way to select a bunch of imprted data and making its status unconfirmed?

    Hi art kl,

There is a free third-party CSV Importer extension for Moneydance that is more robust than the Text Importer extension. It incorporates Moneydance's 'Blue Dot' process.

You can d/l the mdcsvimporter-v20.zip file from here:
    https://github.com/stant/mdcsvimporter2015/releases

There is an instruction sheet that you can d/l towards the bottom of the above referenced webpage.

If you need help with setting it up, post back and I'll try to assist you with it.

    HTH -Kevin N.
