specific pattern. The HTML code includes a "Pattern" element that
used to be handled by javascript, but now the code is handled by
what used to be called HTML5. The common javascript code that does
that uses a "M/D/Y" type format, and HTML5 uses RegEx... They
conflict with each other and won't let the transaction go
