Don't know if this is a good place to do this - but I wanted to warn people - new HTML code can break your bank website. I can't download from 3 of my 5 banks now in Chrome, Firefox 4, or IE9. Short story, the new HTML code interferes with old methods to validate date entries. Older browsers will work fine. I want to recommend to all Moneydance users to keep an old browser on their system so they can continue to download transactions from the web!

My bank has corrected the problem, and removed the bad code, thank goodness.. But, it's still an issue in some cases.

Do you happen to know what specifically in the HTML is not working with Chrome, Firefox 4, or IE9?

yes. In most banks cases, it's their desire to make the date a specific pattern. The HTML code includes a "Pattern" element that used to be handled by javascript, but now the code is handled by what used to be called HTML5. The common javascript code that does that uses a "M/D/Y" type format, and HTML5 uses RegEx... They conflict with each other and won't let the transaction go through.

Thanks for the information. I'll pass it on as necessary.
