Capital One "upgraded" their site this weekend and Money Dance cannot download transactions. I can however log on to my account on the web.

Thomas, I also received documentation regarding this issue. I disabled all the Capital One online services within Moneydance, and I believe that service will be restored today or tomorrow. I will re-setup the online services this evening after work. Hopefully service will have been restored. I believe they were doing maintenance or upgrades to their system that requires a reset of the online banking.

Re-enabling the account doesn't work as of this morning, but I have word from Capital One that the upgrade was taking longer than expected.

For the MD staff: is there a way you can find out if the DirectConnect information (OFX address, org, etc.) has changed for Capital One with this update?

We've checked our Capital One OFX info last week, but I'll check again, just to make sure it hasn't changed.

Please let us know if you continue to be unable to connect to Capital One after they say their upgrade is finished.

As of this morning, I am unable to connect to Capital one. I called the bank, and they are unable to help. I changed from quicken to Moneydance after having many problems with Quicken prior to the bank's upgrade. They say that they don't have in bank support for Moneydance so I am hoping to receive a solution from you. btw, LOVE the program.

I just checked the OFX information we have for Capital One and it's out of date since their upgrade. I've researched the new information. The database should be updated in the next few days.

Jessica, very good. I figured they updated their info, hence Quicken users having to update their program. Does this mean I'll have to update my Moneydance version, or is that a database that the program taps into to get that info?

You shouldn't have to update your version of Moneydance. However, you will probably need to deactivate and re-activate your Capital One connection in order to get the updated information.

OK, our Capital One information is updated and should work now. Please post here if you have continued connection problems or questions.
