Direct Connect to Optumbank
My HSA account is with optumbank. Optum is not listed by moneydance as one of the "approved" banks. Anyway to see if that could be added? The URL that I go to is this: https://myuhc.optumbank.com/account

Hi Ralph,
Thank you for contacting Moneydance support.
Unfortunately Optum bank don't support Direct Connect but they use other connection methods such as Web Connect and Express Web Connect.
Without Direct Connect, you are still able to easily import your data into the program by using a web browser to download files from your bank's web site.
If you choose this option, we'd recommend you download using the OFX or QFX file format if available. If not, use the QIF file format. (These files are sometimes referred to as Quicken or MS Money files). You can import the files to Moneydance using File --> Import.
The steps for manually importing your data are outlined in this article from the Knowledge Base.
Alternatively, since you are entitled to a free upgrade to Moneydance 2022.1 (4058) - I was able to test this by entering your previous license key here you could consider trying out a new connect method Moneydance +.

So on my 2021 version of MD I have a DC with my credit union (checking/saving) and one with my credit card. If I upgrade - and I replace the DC connection method with the 2FA via Plaid - will that over write what I current have in my registers? I've not found any discussions in the forums on that. Thanks...

For further information you can refer to this article of the Knowledge Base about Connecting Accounts with Moneydance+ , more specifically see the paragraph Download your transactions.
Also, you should choose one method or the other as it will not be possible combining OFX connections and Moneydance +.
