Rogers Bank in Canada

Hi, I can't find the Canadian bank, Rogers Bank in the bank list when trying to connect with Moneydance+. I have a credit card with them, Fido Cashback Mastercard. The website is rbaccess.rogersbank.com. Please let me know if I'm looking incorrectly or if you just don't have access to it. Thanks. Amy

   Hi Amy,
   Thank you for contacting Moneydance support.

   Currently, Moneydance supports automatic downloads using Direct Connect or Moneydance + but unfortunately neither of these automatic connection methods are supported by Rogers Bank, at the moment.

   Without Direct Connect and Moneydance +, you are still able to easily import your data into the program.
   We'd recommend you use the OFX or QFX file format if either of these are available. If not, use the QIF file format. You can find the steps for manually importing your data in this article.

   Thanks for the info. I’m able to import my Rogers banking statements. I wonder what Rogers bank use for connecting because I can connect my mint.com online account which doesn’t support importing files. I was hoping to switch to using moneydance instead since mint has some problems I can’t stand. Perhaps you could look into Rogers method of connecting since it is possible to do so.

   Rogers Bank uses other connection methods that Moneydance does not support, called Web Connect and Express Web Connect.

   • We cannot use Web Connect as it is a proprietary download method owned and maintained by Quicken/Intuit.
     
   • We will not use Express Web Connect due to security concerns, outlined in our blog and also in this article.
