There have been previous requests to add Nationwide Bank UK to the list of Banks which can be imported. It is one of the six clearing banks in the UK and mainly deals with personal customers.

I tried importing as an .ofx file but it doesn't work. I tried imposing a civ file wiyj the CSV Importer bt then Moneydance crashed.

there h been previous requests for this and it seems to be Work in Progress but is still unresolved. is there any news as to the current situation? Thanks

Direct Connect is generally only supported by a subset of U.S. banks. As far as I am aware no Banks outside of North America support it.

An OFX import should work, and a reasonably formatted CSV is also likely to work if it is a non-investment account.

You would need to outline what is happening with the manual imports for people to be able to help.

OFX should work. Are you able to download perhaps an ofx for one day, redact the account number and upload that here or something?

If you want to email me a file to try, that’s ok too.

OK, I just tried a real OFX file from Nationwide and it worked fine... What does "I tried importing as an .ofx file but it doesn't work" actually mean..?

    Thanks both.

I’ve just tried again and it’s worked fine.

I don’t know what I did wrong before but it’s been a long day!

    Thanks again for your help.
