I purchased Moneydance about 3 weeks ago when my Money license expired. I was able to set everything up fairly easily and had all the online banking working including BB&T. On about 11-06-09 I started having problems with downloading transactions from BB&T. I contacted them today and they informed me that they had put a new server in place and had recently shut off the old server. They told me that they were only able to trouble-shoot & support online banking issues for users of Quicken & Quickbooks. Please help as I would like to continue using both Moneydance and BB&T but without online functionality, one has to go.

    Doug,

We do have updated information for BB&T that will work now and beyond. You may need to disable your connection and then choose a new connection. This time choose "BB&T Banking and Bill Payment". That connection is working properly. Please let me know if you encounter any difficulties.

If you have your financial institution set up your account as if you were using Quicken 2008 for Windows then it should also work with Moneydance since they use the same protocol. This is sometimes necessary as many banks don't yet recognize Moneydance or know how to deal with it.

Please let me know if I can be of further assistance, and thank you for your interest in Moneydance!
